Bunaken is an 8,08 km2 island in Manado Gulf, which located in north of Celebes, Indonesia. This island is part of manado city, the capital of north sulawesi. Bunaken island can be reached in 30 minutes from manado port by speed boat or rental ship. Around bunaken island, there is National Park, named Bunaken National Park. Bunaken National Park is a marine park. This marine park has one of highest biodiversity in the world. Scuba diving attract many visitor to this island. Bunaken has 5 islands in it, Manarauw Island, Bunaken Island, Siladen Island, Mantehage Island, and Naen Island. Eventhought Bunaken has very wide area, diving spot is limited for those 5 island.
Bunaken Mareine Park has 20 dive spot with variated depth up to 1.344m. From those 20 dive spot, 12 spot located around Bunaken Island. This 12 dive spot is very popular to diver and seaview lovers.
In this 12 dive spot, there is underwater great walls or hanging walls. This hanging walls formed by corals which stand vertical and curved to the top. This coral walls also became food source for fish in this waters.
